Kawasaki Ninja Service Manual / Self-Diagnosis System / Subthrottle Sensor (Service Code 32) / Subthrottle Sensor Resistance Inspection

Turn the ignition switch to OFF.
Disconnect the subthrottle sensor connector.
Connect a digital meter [A] to the subthrottle sensor connector [B].
Measure the subthrottle sensor resistance.

Subthrottle Sensor Resistance Connections: BL lead [D] ←→ BR/BK lead [C] Standard: 4 6 kΩ

Subthrottle Sensor Resistance Inspection

If the reading is out of the standard, replace the throttle body assy.

If the reading is within the standard, but the problem still exists, replace the ECU (see ECU Removal/Installation in the Fuel System (DFI) chapter).
