NOTICE
Never drop the vehicle-down sensor especially on a hard surface. Such a shock to the sensor can damage it.

Apply grease to the oil seal lips on the upper ridge of the
clutch cover.
Apply engine oil to the needle bearings in the hole of the
clutch cover.
Applymolybdenum disulfide grease to the pusher-holding
portion [A] on the release shaft.

Idle Speed Inspection
Start the engine and warm it up thoroughly.
With the engine idling, turn the handlebar to both sides
[A].

Engine Oil Change
Situate the motorcycle so that it is vertical after warming
up the engine.
Remove the engine oil drain bolt [A] to drain the oil.
The oil in the oil filter can be drained by removing the filter
(see Oil Filter Replacement).
Replace the drain bolt gasket [B] with a new one.
