Resistance Inspection
In this model, resistors for CAN communication line are
built in the ECU [A] and meter unit.
Refer to the Meter Unit Inspection in the Electrical System
chapter for the resistor in the meter unit.
Turn the ignition switch to OFF.

has run. If the odometer is displayed,
the “ODO” is displayed on the

Gear Position Switch Installation
Securely place the springs [A] and pins [B] into the holes
[C] of the shift drum.
Apply grease to the new O-ring [D].
Install the gear position switch [E].
Apply a non-permanent locking agent to the threads of
the gear position switch screws [F].
