If they appear damaged or deteriorated, replace them.

Apply a non-permanent locking agent to the threads of
the handlebar positioning bolts and tighten them.
Torque - Handlebar Positioning Bolts: 9.8 N·m (1.0 kgf·m,
87 in·lb)
Install the steering stem head with handlebars.
Install the washer [A] and steering stem head nut [B].

Throttle Body Assy Holder Installation
Be sure to install the new O-rings [A].
Using a high flash-point solvent, clean off any oil or dirt
that may be on the silicone sealant coating area. Dry
them with a clean cloth.
Apply silicone sealant to any two positions of the new O
