Battery Installation
Visually inspect the surface of the battery container.
If any signs of cracking or electrolyte leakage from the
sides of the battery.
Put the battery into the rear fender
Install the band [A].
Connect the positive (+) cable [B] (red cap) to the positive
(+) terminal first, and then ...
Rocker Arm/Tie-Rod Bearing, Sleeve Inspection
NOTICE
Do not remove the bearings for inspection. Removal
may damage them.
Visually inspect the rocker arm, or tie-rod sleeves [A] and
needle bearings [B].
The rollers in a needle bearing normally wear very little,
and wear is difficult to measure. Instead of measuring,
