Fuel Pressure InspectionShift Fork/Gear Groove Wear Inspection
Measure the thickness of the shift fork ears [A], and measure
the width [B] of the gear grooves.
If the thickness of a shift fork ear is less than the service
limit, the shift fork must be replaced.

Fuel Injector Output Voltage Inspection
NOTE
Be sure the battery is fully charged.
Turn the ignition switch to OFF.
Remove the ECU (see ECU Removal).
Do not disconnect the ECU connector
Connect a digital meter [A] to the connector (gray) [B] with
the needle adapter set.

Spring Preload Adjustment
To adjust the spring preload, turn the spring preload adjuster
[A].
The standard adjuster setting is the 6 turns in from the
fully counterclockwise position.
