Clean the seat area carefully.
Coat the seat with machinist’s dye.
Fit a 45° cutter into the holder and slide it into the valve
guide.
Press down lightly on the handle and turn it right or left.
Grind the seating surface only until it is smooth.

Oil Level Inspection
Check that the engine oil level is between the upper [A]
and lower [B] levels in the gauge.
NOTE
Situate the motorcycle so that it is perpendicular to the
ground.
If the motorcycle has just been used, wait several minutes
for all the oil to drain down.

Compression Damping Force Adjustment
To adjust the compression damping force, turn the compression
damping adjuster [A].
The standard adjuster setting is the 4 1/2 turns out from
the fully clockwise position.
