Kawasaki Ninja Service Manual / Fuel System (DFI) / Air Cleaner / Air Cleaner Housing Installation

For ZX1000JD/KD, be sure to install the pad [A].

Air Cleaner Housing Installation

Install the clamp bolt heads [A] inside as shown in the figure.
Install the air cleaner housing on the throttle body assy.

Push in the ducts [B] touch the stoppers [C] of the throttle body.

Be sure the hoses are routed correctly and properly installed.

Tighten:

Torque - Air Cleaner Housing Clamp Bolts: 2.0 N·m (0.20 kgf·m, 18 in·lb) Air Cleaner Housing Assembly Screws [D]: 1.1 N·m (0.11 kgf·m, 10 in·lb)

Air Cleaner Housing Installation

Run the leads and hoses correctly (see Cable, Wire, and Hose Routing section in the Appendix chapter).
Install the removed parts (see appropriate chapters).
