Remove:
Radiator Cap (see Coolant Change in the Periodic Maintenance
chapter)
Check the condition of the bottom [A] and top [B] valve
seals and valve spring [C].
If any one of them shows visible damage, replace the cap
with a new one.

Apply high-temperature grease to the grease seal lips.
Fit the collars on the both sides of the hub.

Right Side Collar [B] (with Flange)
Engage the drive chain with the rear sprocket.
Install the caliper bracket [A] onto the stopper [B] of the
swingarm.

Fuse Inspection
Remove the fuse.
Inspect the fuse element.
If it is blown out, replace the fuse. Before replacing a
blown fuse, always check the amperage in the affected
circuit. If the amperage is equal to or greater than the
fuse rating, check the wiring and related components for
a short circuit.
