Standard: About 196 kPa (2.00 kgf/cm², 28 psi) at 4 000 r/min (rpm), Oil Temperature 50°C (122°F)
If the reading is much lower than the standard, check the oil pump, relief valve, and/or crankshaft bearing insert wear immediately.
If the reading is much higher than the standard, check the oil passages for clogging.
WARNING Hot oil can cause severe burns. Beware of hot engine oil that will drain through the oil passage when the gauge adapter is removed. |
Torque - Oil Passage Plug (Taper): 20 N·m (2.0 kgf·m, 15 ft·lb)
Starter Motor Disassembly
Remove the starter motor (see Starter Motor Removal).
Take off the starter motor through bolts [A] and remove
the both end covers [B].
Pull out the armature [A] out of the yoke [B].

Do not remove the circlip [C] from the shaft.
