If the reading is much lower than the standard, check the oil pump, relief valve, and/or crankshaft bearing insert wear immediately.
If the reading is much higher than the standard, check the oil passages for clogging.
| WARNING Hot oil can cause severe burns. Beware of hot engine oil that will drain through the oil passage when the gauge adapter is removed. |

Wheel/Tire Damage Inspection
Remove any imbedded stones [A] or other foreign particles
[B] from tread.
Visually inspect the tire for cracks and cuts, and replace
the tire if necessary. Swelling or high spots indicate internal
damage, requiring tire replacement.
