Apply grease to the new O-ring.
Install the water hoses and hose clamps [A] as shown in
the figure.

Drive Chain Removal/Installation
NOTE
Since the drive chain is installed through the swingarm,
The chain can not be removed other than by cutting it.
Prepare the new link pin, link plate, grease seals, and
tools for rejoining the chain.

Remove:
Bolts [A]
Chain Cover [B]

Chain Slack Adjustment
Remove the cotter pin, and loosen
the axle nut.
Loosen the left and right chain adjuster
locknuts.

If the chain is too loose, turn out the
left and right chain adjusters evenly.
