Exploded ViewAir Intake Solenoid Valve Unit Test
Remove the air intake solenoid valve (see Air Intake Solenoid
Valve Removal in the Fuel System (DFI) chapter).
Set the hand tester [A] to the × 1 Ω range and connect it
to the air intake solenoid valve terminals as shown in the
figure.

Water Pump Impeller Disassembly/Assembly
Remove the water pump impeller (see Oil Pump Removal
in the Engine Lubrication System chapter).
The sealing seat and rubber seal may be removed easily
by hand.

Remove:
Shift Lever Bolt [A]
Front Footpeg Bracket Bolts [B]
If the tie-rod [C] is to be removed from the shift pedal and
the shift lever, loosen the tie-rod locknuts [D].
The front tie-rod locknut is left-hand thread.
Remove:
